St. John Family

I love this picture and this family.
Kari wanted a family photo before Hayden leaves for his mission.
This one just exudes happiness.

Spencer's "Homecoming"

Spencer gave a great talk weaving his missionary experiences around his theme of Families Can Be Together Forever.  He is delightful and has a beautifully strong yet humble testimony.

Elder Spencer St. John Returns!

I can't even begin to explain how fun it is to greet a returning missionary at the airport.
We are all so excited to have Spencer come home from the Mexico Ciudad Juarez Mission.

Cutest sisters ever!  Katelyn and Paige.  Paige made these signs.

Luke and Katelyn are so fun to be around.

Chantel, Dave and Tanner get extra credit for coming to greet Spencer and help with the lunch.
Then they left right after and returned to St. George.  It meant a lot to me.

I loved this sign Paige made and Ryan Butters is holding.

All the waiting and anticipation is finally rewarded.

We had chicken croissant sandwiches, spinach-strawberry salad, watermelon, and three desserts.

It was a special treat to have Lauren (and Bonnie) with us.

Julie was glad she was at least able to get away from work in time to see Spencer here.

I am so proud of this young man.  He loved his mission and I will miss his email.

Cherie & co. Photo-shoot in Bountiful

17 November 2012

Cherie decided that her family needed some updated photos. She hated having her picture taken because her hair still hadn't grown out long enough and she did not like the way she looked in her wig, yet she felt it was more important that they get some family photos. Melissa was selected to be the photographer.  Melissa got some great photos, but I took my camera and got these snapshots. I hope I am not stealing any of hers, but to be sure give her the credit for the good ones, and certainly for the setup and locale.

I love the way Cherie and Kari interacted with each other.

I also liked these photos of Julie & Tom that I took.

Aileen and Joe Uriona asked Melissa to photograph them also.

A Quintessential Autumn Day

Is there anything more fabulous than a beautiful, mild autumn day at a football game.  My grandson, Spencer St. John, is #78 and such a great kid. The weather this autumn has been exceptional.
