Pleasures of Home

Mitzi is such a great kitty-cat.

I love animals and feel it is such a gift that we can have them in our homes to love.

I love doing handwork, especially crochet.

This afghan will be given to Ciera for Whitley.

Logan Mark Brooks Blessing

Mitch and Marilee Brooks had a beautiful baby boy on January 18, 2016.

Mitch gave him a name and a blessing, surrounded by family at their home.

Marilee prepared a wonderful luncheon for all who came.

Shawna is proud of this beautiful grandson.

Logan was given Mark's name as his middle name.

Hayley at the Las Vegas Temple

I am so grateful we were able to be with Hayley, Steven and Kim

as Hayley went to the temple for the first time, in preparation for her mission.
Hayley will be serving in the Washington D.C. South Mission.
She enters the MTC on 3 August 2016.

Hayley is a beautiful girl and is dedicated to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Julie and Tom's Third Sunday Dinners

Julie didn't skip a beat.  She had her usual Third Sunday Dinner in her new home.  They are always such a good time to strengthen family bonds.

Elijah Kendrick Barrera

Chantel's daughter, Cashaye, gave birth to a little boy on Saturday, 18 June 2016.  All went well for both mother and child, and even the grandmother did well.  

Eli was born in St. George, Utah

I loved that Cashaye took the receiving blanket I gave her to the hospital to take Eli home in.

It was so fun to go with Kim to take photos of Hayley

prior to her mission.  They came prepared.

Provo Canyon was so beautiful and a perfect place for the photo shoot.

 Kim did a great job.

It helps to have such a beautiful subject.

Julie and Tom Move Back to Bountiful

We have had so many good times in this small condo at Three Fountains.

Now we are so excited - over the moon - about Julie and Tom returning to Bountiful.

They love having family at their home and now they will have more room. 

A real house in a great neighborhood again. 

This is a nice home, with a big back yard, but it will just get better and better

as Julie adds her amazing touch.  

But best of all for me, it is within walking distance. My heart is happy. 

Hayden Graduation from Bountiful High School

I was so glad that Hayden let me make and send these announcements.

He wasn't going to have this done; he wasn't even going to walk.

He is so capable -- graduating with a 3.89 GPA.

He will walk.

And he did!  It was a good day.
