New Years Eve

Mason, Zack, Juan and Chase with Cooper
So many boys at Chantel and Dave's.

I was so glad that Kim and Steven, Jordan and Jacob came.
Kim and Melissa have handwork in common - as do some of the rest of us.
This is beautiful work Kim is doing.

Julie, Jacob, Hayley, Jordan and I went for a walk to the park right by Julie's home.

We mostly ate, talked, ate, played games, watched a movie and ate.

Jeff's sister, Jenn, and his brother, Jordan, and their families came too.

I don't know where the "How to Be Single" came from but we did welcome in 2016.

St. George for the Holidays

The great thing about St. George is that there are so many possibilities.  I love that the family gathers there and everyone is happy.  Julie, et al. love to hike and they go to such gorgeous places. Julie and Tom own a beautiful home in St. George and they are generous so their kids come often.

Julie Dawn and Ellie Dawn

Gracie and Mia love the hikes too.

Beautiful Ellie

Jeff is so great with his girls.

Cutest hikers EVER!

We went down on the 28th.  Our furnace went out so we tried to use the
wood-burning stove until we were able to get it repaired.  It took two days.

Seth did well.

On the 30th we all went to a Chinese dinner.
The Motts, Urionas, Markels, Lancasters and us.
Melissa had sushi and the rest of us shared Chinese dishes.

Christmas

It's so good to still have the Christmas stockings Mom made for my girls.

Julie and Tom are always such great hosts. Our Christmas Eve was spent there with family.
Wayne read the Christmas story from Luke.

Madi and Ellie got their Christmas Eve nightgowns.

Christmas morning we went to the St. Johns and truly enjoyed being with them.
Kari outdid himself once again.  Hayden and Paige were thrilled.
Julie & Tom had gone to T.J. & Jill's and Dane & Stacy's on their way to St. George for the holiday.
We went over to Mom's in the afternoon.

December Events

Cute Tess was baptized.

On the 6th Kari took us to the First Presidency Christmas Devotional.

Tanner even had his picture taken with Santa.

I'm not sure Hayley likes the snow.

I think Austin is trying to look cool.

The wonder of snow through the eyes of a little child.

It's tough going' for Mason to ride his bike to classes at the University.

We actually got a lot of snow.
Truly a winter wonderland.

On the 23rd Kari took us to dinner at Flemings.
It was so elegant and truly one of the best meals I have had in years.

Thanksgiving Day at Our St. George Home

I was so happy that everyone agreed to have Thanksgiving dinner at our home in St. George. I'm especially grateful that Ciera and Seth were okay with it and that they, Chantel and Dave arranged for and set up all the tables and chairs.  It turned out great.

St. George

One of the reasons I love where our St. George home is - easy walks to see wonderful things.
It is flat and our home is close to the temple and the center of town.  Perfect for me.

I discovered this "Loving Gate" which is so interesting.

And here is Brigham Young.

The antiques store had this absolutely amazing spinning wheel and it actually works.

This was such an idyllic scene, so I changed it in Waterlogue.  So cool!

This photo of the autumn leaves turned out so well too.

Seth helped Ciera with her Periscope broadcast amid all the Christmas lights.

Nice to have Mason and Chase here from school.  Chantel fed all of us a great dinner - again.

Happy Birthday!

Jeff gave Melissa this Happy Birthday cake.

Kari posted this photo of cute Paige. She is such a lovely young lady.

And on the 24th Kari posted this picture of Cherie and Katelyn to celebrate Cherie's birthday.

Uriona Thanksgiving

I feel honored that we are still invited to the Uriona Thanksgivings.
They are always delightful and it is so good to see all of Tom's family with no date conflicts.

Having Lauren here is a special treat.  Made loves her too.

This amazing wooden marble roll was a huge hit.

I think the cranberry sauce Julie made is perfect.

Such a delightful person.

The project is finally finished.  The new tennis courts are gorgeous.
The ugly baseball diamond is taken out and a new perfect one is finished south of this big, open field.
