Mother's Day

One of my favorite things about Mother's Day is that Wayne cooks dinner and invites all the women in our family. It is always a happy day that makes me feel blessed.

As much as she says she hates all this new technology, she does enjoy looking at the photos of our families on an iPad.  I just wish she would let us buy her one and keep in touch, if only by Instagram. I really do believe she would enjoy it - but maybe at 93 it would stress her too much. Oh how the world has changed in her lifetime.

Emily did not walk.  We went to St. George to see Ciera graduate.

Such a cute announcement.

There she is, that cute little girl, waiting to walk through the "D". 

She is a marvelous person.

Emily Dawn Bailey graduated from Utah State University with a Master's Degree
in Piano Performance and Pedagogy on May 4, 2012.
She decided not to walk, so I have no photos, but we are so very proud of her.

Shawna and Jack are living at Mom's so they invited us over to dinner. They even used the beautiful Rosenthal china Mom & Dad bought in Germany over 60 years ago.

Mark and Michelle came over that evening and brought Brighton. Mom loves little babies.

Tosha Meyers Wedding in Manti

Tosha is Roger and Cindy Meyers' daughter and she was married on the 29th of March 2013. Everything was quite simple, but nice. She seems very happy. Roger and Cindy are on their way to live in Missouri.

They had a wedding dinner at the Manti House. It was nice.

I loved finding this marker. It taught me things and verified the information I had in my family history. Our Buchanan, Whiting and Oldroyd ancestors settled Manti. This marker lets me know that the family stories we have are true. 

On our way home we went to Wales.
