New Church History Museum

This place is fabulous.  I'm so glad I spent time here.  The opening film of Joseph Smith's First Vision is short, inspirational, and impressive. Not to be missed.

So glad this beautiful stained-glass window is still here.

The replications of historical sites were so well done.

I love this new painting of the young girl who so eagerly read the copy of
the Book of Mormon Joseph Smith gave her.

The interactive exhibits were fun and very popular.

When I was there a new art exhibit was displayed.
So many of these paintings touched my heart.

This is my very favorite. I felt the Roman soldier finally realized
the magnitude of what had happened at the crucifixion of the Savior of the World.

I was also glad that the displays for each of the Presidents of the Church are intact.

After the museum I enjoyed City Creek Center.

How awesome. I've still never been here, and need to go ASAP.
