Spencer & Shelby Wedding

The night before the wedding, Shelby's parents hosted a dinner.
It was fun to get acquainted with Shelby's family. Very nice people.
I was so happy to be at the Provo City Center Temple with them.
It is a beautiful temple and the ceremony was the best I have ever heard.
So many young people are leaving the Church, but this grandson is strong and incredible.
I think of Spencer as a bright and shining star. I wish him every happiness with Shelby.
After the ceremony, the St. John side went to a restaurant and really enjoyed talking with each other.

The reception at Wadley Farm and Vineyard in Orem was beautiful.
I love our family so much. I'm so grateful that Kari still wants to stay close to us.

Living with Tom & Julie

We bought our condominium at Ridgewood at Maple Hills and moved out of our Millbrook Way home on August 15th. Sad but exciting. As we were going to completely remodel our condominium at 2116 Ridgewood Way, we were now homeless.  We were so grateful that Tom & Julie were willing to let us live with them until our remodel was complete. We moved out in mid-November.

A bonus was being able to see our cute great-grandchildren more often.
I will miss that. And we learned to love Mia and Gracie, the doggies.
Julie also fed us incredibly healthy and delicious food. She has become an amazing cook.

Lyndsey & Francesco Troccoli Wedding

Such a beautiful wedding. Oh how I love them and all the Parker family.
I was so happy that Chantel and Julie were able to come.
I also love Chris Tingey's music.

Cashaye & Miguel's Wedding

I really like this picture announcing the marriage of Cashaye Monet Markel & Miguel Angel Barrera. So cute.

All that Chantel did to make this wedding beautiful and memorable was incredible. Cashaye & Miguel's bishop (who has only been a bishop for a month) had been talking with them and really wanted them to get married, and quickly. After all, they have three children together. He also has them meeting with the missionaries again. I truly hope all works out as it should.

Chantel paid for a gorgeous wedding dress for Cashaye and rented The Falls Event Center, a large, impressive center, for the wedding and reception. The weather was gorgeous too, so I am sure Chantel also ordered that. The wedding was held outside, then the pictures were taken.

Miguel and Cashaye's Mexican families and friends provided the meal, Mexican food of course. It was very good. They tables were lovely with flowers in purples, Cashaye's favorite color.  Ciera and Chantel planned and set everything up. Chantel even had two babysitters there to take care of the children and play games with them. Chantel and Ciera did a tremendous amount of work, taking care of every detail, in a matter of a few weeks. I think Chantel and Ciera can doing anything. Super women!

After the meal, we went downstairs to a large dance floor and had such a fun time dancing. The DJ was awesome. I had so much fun watching everyone dance. It is always heartwarming having our daughters together. Kim, Julie & Chantel were so much fun and Miguel and Mason were incredible to watch. Even Chase contributed to the revelry. I love the little video clips I took. Wayne and I danced a bit and it was a lot of fun. We were awkward, but better than I expected.

We wish much happiness for Cashaye, Miguel, Ana, Audri and Eli. We are thankful for the goodness and generosity of Chantel.
