Downstairs Bathroom
The wallpaper in our very dated downstairs bathroom was coming off after being there from the time we moved here in 1983. The brown cabinets were incredibly ugly. I was proud of myself for doing all the preparation and painting. Preparing and painting the cabinets were the most difficult. The bathroom is still dated and way too small, but it's better than it was. Some day we will do it right -- I hope.

Austin's European Trip and Happenings in America
I was amazed that Austin took a solo trip to Europe.
I'm so glad he posted to Instagram. It let us know at least that he was alive and functioning.
Even though he lost his passport, he had a great time and made it home safely.
News of other grandchildren: Emily and her two dogs and Lauren and her three.
It seems that everyone in our family who has a dog wants more than one.
We have a Sunday dinner at our house with Cherie's family.
It was fun to get better acquainted with Luke, and we really like him.
And my brother, Dick and his wife, Carole, are in Samoa on a mission
to meet the dental needs of missionaries and others there. Good people!

Memorial Day and Chantel's Birthday
After showing our love and respect for Cherie in Bountiful,
we start out with Wayne's parents and brother-in-law in Mapleton.
Lyman and Bicknell are next for my mother and my father's relatives.
It is sad to see what has happened to Grandma and Grandpa Turner's home
in Lyman since it is no longer owned by anyone in our extended family.
After decorating the graves we gathered with the cousins and Aunt Claudia in Torrey.
Karleen and Jamie and Claudia's daughters and dearly loved by us.
Then it was on to St. George.
Chantel had to share her birthday with Memorial Day. She's so cute.
This hike looks amazing.
Tom, Julie Ellie, Madi, Hayley, Kim, Melissa with Gracie in Snow Canyon.
Wayne and I were able to go on the hike to the new Red Hills Nature Park.
It was built to showcase landscaping and water conservation. It is really interesting.

Payson, Utah Temple
The Payson Temple Open House was amazing.
This is one of the most beautiful temples I have ever seen.
I especially liked the incredible woodwork and the stained-glass windows.
