Emily Dawn Bailey, MA
20 August 2013
Finally. After so many years of lessons and listening, of passion and practice,
of travel and triumph, Emily is earning her
Master's Degree in piano pedagogy and piano performance from
Utah State University.
We are so proud of her and of her mother who has sacrificed so very much to be with her
every step of the way. Julie has been completely dedicated to helping Emily achieve all she has.
Emily's Master's Recital was held in the beautiful
Utah State University Performance Hall.
Emily will be teaching piano at USU now that she is graduating.
We have always loved listening to Emily play the piano.
This evening's performance was spectacular.
We love Emily so very much.
Sorry for the blurry photo, but an added bonus was being able to meet
Bryan's parents, Scott and Judy Ezola. This is looking serious.

Chase Returns With Honor
13 August 2013

Chase returned from the Washington Kennewick Mission on August 13th.
He was a great missionary and loved serving.

Chantel and Craig were so happy to welcome their son home at the airport in St. George.
I wish we could have been there.
Ciera looks pretty happy to have him home also.
We are so happy with the choices Chase has made. He was an exceptional missionary.
Mason is serving in Chile and they won't see each other for a total of four years.
We were able to go down and hear Chase speak in sacrament meeting
and enjoy time with them at Chantel's small condo. It was so nice to be there.
Chase is amazing. He will be rooming with Conner at the University of Utah.

Aunt Lawana Turner Morrell
11 August 2013
My mother's sister, LaWana, passed away on 11 August 2013 in St. George, Utah.
She was buried in Bicknell, Utah on 16 August 2013.
Shawna and Karl took this opportunity to clean up Dad's headstone.
It was good that all four of us could be with Mom at the funeral.
My Happy Birthday
6 August 2013
I loved this! Kari bought me the whole set of Harry Potter books for my birthday present.
Then Wayne and I met Julie, Lyndsey, Melissa, Ellie and Madi at City Creek Center
for dinner at the food court and fun at the play land. Such cute kids to celebrate with.
Fifty Mile Bike Ride

I don't understand this kind of self-inflicted punishment, but I admire them their accomplishment.

Great bonding time for Kim and Julie.

I love that Hayden rode with them.
