Eloise Dawn Mott is Baptized

Ellie is a marvelous girl and was excited to be baptized and confirmed by her father, Jeff.  She is beautiful, caring and kind. Julie gave a great talk about baptism and rainbows.  Melissa went to a lot of trouble to make this special day memorable and continued the rainbow theme. We were so happy to be there.

New Back Patio

It took a month, but we are thrilled with our new patio, and especially with the removal of the roof overhang. My view is so much improved and the patio is just what we needed.  So glad to git rid of the green indoor-outdoor carpeting. The process was interesting.

I had forgotten that the railing was apart of the bid.  I truly love it.

Boyd's Custom Patios, you did yourself proud. We are so happy.
We even feel it is well worth the $6,000.

Luc Rasmussen and Family Visit

Luc Rasmussen, our favorite YSA from Wales, with his wife, Rachel, and their two sons, Harry and George, came from Cardiff, Wales for a three week visit to the United States.  They started their vacation staying with us for three days then it was on to others they had met in Wales. We love Luc and it was fun to see what a marvelous father he is, so patient and willing to play with his boys.

International Women's Day

When I saw this picture Melissa posted, my heart leapt. It spoke to my feelings abut the amazing women in our family, both past and present.

When I read her journaling, I was filled with gratitude and love. The influence of good women is beyond measure.  I myself have been lifted and strengthened during the hard times of my life by the example of the faithful, strong and loving women in our family who preceded me.  Thanks, Melissa.
