Mom at 92

Mom is remarkable.
Few people do as well as she does when in their nineties.

Ben & Lyndsey Stevenson

A beautiful marriage at the Salt Lake Temple on 23 June 2012.

Lyndsey & Ben looked spectacular.
It was a privilege to be at the temple with them.

RECEPTION AT THE HOTEL UTAH:

It was great to have Chantel here.

Melissa was the photographer.
So I don't have good photos of the "line" and/or the
people who came to wish the bride and groom well.

Lyndsey Michelle Parker - The Big Day!

Well this was one of the most beautiful weddings ever.  It was so fun to have our family together. Here are a LOT of pictures of the event.

PREPARATION:

Following a long tradition in the Cable family, Lyndsey sits in the bathroom sink to put on her makeup.

Kim standing by to help when needed.

Makeup perfect; now how should she wear her hair?

Hayley's turn in the sink.

Kim helping with some fancy hair work. Too bad it didn't work out.

Last of all, Mom gets a turn.

The beautiful bride ready to go to the temple.

City Creek Center

I can't help it.  I am fascinated with the new City Creek Center.
I just think should have spelled it City Creek Centre.

The fountains are a delight.

I love these lights and artwork in Nordstrom's.

Blast from the Past - 1953

1953 - Schwetzingen, Germany
Dad, Mom, Claudine, Dick, Shawna, Karl
This is how our family looked shortly before we returned to the United States
after 2 1/2 years in Germany. I loved living there and I especially loved our house.

Here we are with my dear German friend, Heidi Tienhaus.
We are standing at the front gate of our home.

This picture was taken shortly after we came back to the United States in 1953.
This is Mom's brother and his family.
Mark, Jeanie, Rula, Linda, Rosalie, Sharon, Marla
Even Granma Turner's yellow rose bush is in this picture.
